Vehicle-induced turbulence and atmospheric pollution

چکیده
Abstract. Theoretical models of the Earth's atmosphere adhere to an underlying concept flow driven by radiative transfer and nature surface over which is taking place: heat from sun and/or anthropogenic sources are sole energy driving atmospheric constituent transport. However, another source prevalent in human environment at very local scale – kinetic moving vehicles atmosphere. We show that this energy, due being co-located with combustion emissions, can influence their vertical distribution extent having a significant on lower-troposphere pollutant concentrations throughout North America. H Infinity Controller for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Against Atmospheric Turbulence
Unmanned aerial vehicle experience different atmospheric uncertainties during their flight. These uncertainties caused the problem in the stability and the desired performance of the system. This research paper structured to nullify the influence of atmospheric turbulence and ground effect on the UAV. The models of Dryden turbulence is used as it is one of the major disturbances affecting the U...
متن کاملMeasurement of Atmospheric Turbulence
How light and sound propagate through the optically clear atmosphere has been of interest to children, philosophers, scientists, and engineers since antiquity. The quantum leap in our understanding of wave propagation through the turbulent atmosphere, however, came with the pioneering work by Valeryan Tatarskii and collaborators in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Their work enhanced dramatically our abi...
متن کاملDouble-Star Detection Using Convolutional Neural Network in Atmospheric Turbulence
In this paper, we investigate the usage of machine learning in the detection and recognition of double stars. To do this, numerous images including one star and double stars are simulated. Then, 100 terms of Zernike expansion with random coefficients are considered as aberrations to impose on the aforementioned images. Also, a telescope with a specific aperture is simulated. In this work, two k...
متن کاملAtmospheric turbulence-induced signal fades on optical heterodyne communication links.
The three basic atmospheric propagation effects, absorption, scattering, and turbulence, are reviewed. A simulation approach is then developed to determine signal fade probability distributions on heterodynedetected satellite links which operate through naturally occurring atmospheric turbulence. The calculations are performed on both angle-tracked and nonangle-tracked downlinks, and on uplinks...
متن کاملChinese Growth and Atmospheric Pollution:
This paper uses a dynamic CGE model, calibrated to new and detailed Chinese emissions data, to assess two important questions. What can we reasonably expect Chinese emissions trends to look like over the next two decades? Secondly, what would be the appropriate policy interventions to flatten Chinese emissions trajectories and reduce the risk of local, regional, and even global adversity? This ...
